In this blog I will tell you how to reduce your pain, by simply balancing your energy levels. It all comes down to two simple things, masculine and feminine energy.

Balance in your life is important for creating homeostasis in your body and reducing your pain. If you are unbalanced, it can show up as pain in the body. Your body is trying to tell you something. If you are imbalanced in your life, you will be imbalanced in your body and vica versa!

We all have an abundant flow of masculine and feminine energy. With balance, you feel calm, joyful, energised and creative. When you are out of balance, injuries, niggles, pain, depression and disease occur. So, to reduce pain, you need balance.

Are you too much in your masculine energy? Always ‘doing’ an endless lists of tasks? Do you give yourself time to nourish your soul, your feminine energy? Do you stop to listen and just ‘be’?

Sitting in your feminine energy (yes, even if you are male!), can re-charge and encourage more creativity and energy that you wouldn’t have had, had you carried on with those endless tasks. But how seldom do we make the time? Especially in this male driven society where we need to ‘just get the job done’. Don’t get me wrong, we need this too! We need to embrace our masculine energy! Too much daydreaming and procrastination can lead to stagnation, depression and anxiety. But we need both! We need balance! When we are out of balance our body knows about it and it sends us messages, like pain, to get us to listen.

How to reduce your pain? Take a walk in nature, have a bath, read a book…one that you really love the look of, take time to sip your tea, enjoy the smell, taste and tune into the background noise. Do something for the pleasure of simply enjoying it, rather than for a purpose. We have lost sight of the immense pleasure and healing power of simply ‘being’.
